Helping my sister cram for a statistics midterm. Do you remember how to calculate the probability of two dependent events happening?

Yeah, neither do I.

On the bright side my skin is getting the royal treatment with a mud mask!

GPOYW I’m Back Edition!
Drinking a Wyder’s Pear Cider, no less!
Hello Tumblr friends! I’ve missed you all so much.  I’ve missed your pictures, art, fashion, stories, outfits, and so much more.  Most of all, I’ve missed the inspiration I found here.  Thanks to all of you who reached out and encouraged me to come back.  I’m looking forward to catching up on your lives!
P.S. My pal Heather is back too! Yay!

Reflecting on summer as we transition into fall…

Many days and nights spent at the beach

Good food and afternoons spent in the park with a bottle of wine

A fantastic weekend in Calistoga celebrating five amazing years married

A girls cruise to Mexico with a thousand “laughed so hard I could cry” moments

Things have been a little quiet in my Tumblr corner lately, as I’ve been trying to be present in every moment.  I am so blessed with the people around me and things I experience, sometimes I just need a moment to disconnect and appreciate it all.

A cute gift from my boss this morning! She knows I’m on the countdown to my Mexican Riviera cruise, which leaves in 9 days (not that I’m counting or anything)!

Saturday was for:

  • a great time with a great friend
  • some amazing food including: lumpia, roasted garlic mac’n’cheese, an incredible carrotcake cupcake, spicy tater tots with chipotle-lime aioli
  • fun, huge crowds of people including drunk college boys (we’re talking 30 sheets to the wind here), to whom we happily donated our tots because we felt so bad for them and the hangover today would bring, and a naked guy
  • plenty of wine….I think 8 glasses each
  • Fantastic music…The Roots killed it and Jenna and I happily danced our asses off. Strfkr was pretty good, a little mellow for the kind of dancing we were up for, nonetheless it was neat to be a part of the biggest crowd they’d ever played for : )

Heather! Thanks for planning another FANTASTIC year of good fun at Outside Lands.  You’ve captured it so beautifully above :) I’m so happy that we have this tradition to share!

I’m going through that Sunday afternoon… I’m depressed tomorrow is Monday thing. I just got out of the shower and really don’t want to blow dry and flat iron this mane. However, if I let laziness get the best of me, tomorrow’s bad hair day will only make my Monday worse. Off to apply product and get this hair under control. I hope you all are doing fun and exciting things with your day before the workweek starts!

We are celebrating our five year anniversary today! David surprised me and brought me back to the place where we said “I do” five years ago, Crystal Springs Golf Course in Burlingame, California. This is such a magical place that holds so many happy memories for us.

Happy anniversary honey. You make life so fun and easy. Thanks for all that you do… The big things and the little things, through the thick and the thin. Five years ago I couldn’t have imagined how much love and laughter life had in store for us. To say that I am blessed to have you would be an understatement. You’re my partner, my teammate, and my best friend.

Now off to Calistoga!
